New forcasts in the city has more snow and less rain. First flakes to fall in an hour.

Storm to end in NYC by 4 Am est Friday. Most forcasts are for 8 to 12 inches and if they were wrong and no rain or mix at all then we will get over a foot.

Expect 1 to 2 inches to fall per hour in the early morning.

This doesn't look good.

We won't see it till 7AM. The forecast here has been all over the place the last few days. Yet as of 2 hours ago, they are calling for 12-16 inches with freezing rain in the mix.

I am grateful to be off tomorrow.

2. All day today they were certain of a changeover and now they are hedging their bets.

Not their fault because the track is very important.

4. my friend works in a private school on york ave.

she won't know till 5 am whether or not they're going to close the school. they had a problem with the buses with the last storm. she's a nervous wreck.
