Recchia set to get congressional nod from Staten Island Democrats on Wednesday night

NEW DORP - Staten Island Democrats are set to give their nomination for Congress to Domenic M. Recchia Jr. on Wednesday night.

The party will hold a county convention beginning at 7 p.m. in the Excelsior Grand, New Dorp.

The party's executive committee endorsed Recchia in January, and the larger county committee is expected to ratify that selection at the convention on Wednesday. No other nominations for the slot are expected.
