Preston Niblack, City Council Official Charged In Domestic Assault, Placed On Leave

A top City Council official arrested on domestic violence charges has been placed on administrative leave.

The Council’s finance director, Preston Niblack, was charged with felony assault last month after he allegedly bashed his boyfriend in the head with a statue and a picture frame.

On Wednesday, Niblack’s name was left off a list of finance staff on Council budget documents for the body’s first hearing on next year’s financial plan.
