Census Bureau: NYC Population Hits Record High

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — The United States Census Bureau released an estimate Thursday that shows New York City’s population has hit an all-time record high of 8,405,837 people.

“We know the population is growing. But to be honest this growth has even exceeded our expectations,” Joseph Salvo told WCBS 880′s Rich Lamb.
