Health Officials: 25 Cases Of Measles Confirmed In NYC

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Health officials say a rare outbreak of measles is spreading across New York City.

The New York City Department of Health now says 25 cases of measles have been confirmed since February, including 12 pediatric and 13 adult cases.

It first showed up in northern Manhattan and the Bronx, but the three most recent cases were reported on the Lower East Side.
