Public Announcement: Progress Rate Hike Hearing in Raleigh.

NC WARN Will Hold a Press Conference And Rally Before the Hearing.

Progress Energy will be presenting a rate hike request before the Utilities Commission on Wednesday, March 13th.

Where: Dobbs Building, 430 North Salisbury Street, Raleigh, NC.

Rally and press conference on south steps of Dobbs Building at 6:00 p.m. by NC WARN.

Hearing, Room 2115 at 7:00 p.m.

Progress Energy wants to build more dirty energy power plants while holding back clean energy and weatherization jobs. Residential bills would increase 6-45% depending on usage.
