X-Post from GD: Tea Party Commissoners refuse no-strings federal HUD funds for poor.

http://www.hickoryrecord.com/statesville/opinion/article_bc76c04c-b8aa-11e2-b7b8-001a4bcf6878.html

Mindboggling. Crazy. Obstinate. Just plain stupid. Those were some of the more polite phrases being tossed around the R&L newsroom upon learning that Iredell County Commissioners David Boone and Renee Griffith had voted against accepting no-strings-attached federal funds to help the poorest homeowners make repairs.

Here’s how it would have worked: Homeowners in Iredell County whose household income is below $25,000 would have been eligible for a portion of a $225,000 HUD grant to fix their homes.

Thanks to Boone and Griffith, that won’t happen. Leaky roofs will keep leaking. Broken steps will stay a safety hazard. Faulty wiring will remain a fire risk.

Thanks to Boone and Griffith, children will come home every day to a house that could have been warmer, safer and healthier — but isn’t.

Hateful fucking teabaggers.

I hope these two get a ton of calls and emails over their selfish, inconsiderate actions.

They want that fetus to be born, but it can freeze to death in a cold house with a leaky roof and they don't care! Insanity!!

have any online exposure that I can find. No web, FB, Yelp has a listing but nothing there.

Damn. I wanted to post a biblical verse on their business pages.

A convenience store and a damned church, both of which I'm sure are happy to accept the money of the poor home owners.

EDIT: Found one! http://www.welovecornerstone.com/contact-details/
This is their SOP: "We're a Statesville, NC area community built solid on our Christian foundation.
Love God, Love People, Pass it On.
For every child, every chance, every time!"

What a crock of shit!

...and sent Renee an email that was bounced back because her mailbox was full. So, I copied/pasted it into an email for the Pastor and asked if he could forward it to her.

The reason this comes to mind is the address of Renee Griffith's "business" - which is a CHURCH. Well, Rev. Dr. William J. Barber II has a question for these "Christians":
