Voting info from Democracy NC - the spaghetti mess of new district maps
From our friends at Democracy NC - http://www.democracy-nc.org/
Please share this info with family, friends and neighbors if needed:
Early voting for the primary has begun and so has the confusion caused by the new district maps.
In addition to the new districts, about two million NC voters live in precincts split into different parts with different General Assembly or Congressional districts. That means neighbors who vote at the same precinct location will receive different ballots.
People are surprised to see so many strange names on their ballot and they may even get the wrong ballot!
Be prepared Look at your ballot before you vote and call our free hotline if you have any problems.
