Pope distanced himself from the cut to unemployment benefits, blaming the loss of some extended benefits on a conflict between state and federal laws, which he said could have been resolved by President Barack Obamas administration.

The article states that NC unemployment is down to 8%. Bullshit. Are those whose unemployment benefits ended July 1st still being counted?

Her show definitely helped Montravius King, and with the Republicans' attempt at voter suppression in Boone. So did The Daily Show, for getting a good ol' boy to admit to punishing "lazy blacks."
Voters rejected Pope when he ran for office; too bad for NC that he didn't just slink away.
