Four anarchists beat up a Portland bouncer during May Day riot, suit alleges
A bouncer is suing four reported anarchists for an alleged assault committed during Portland's May Day riot. And if the defendants can't pay up, he'll accept the $10,000 award from their parents, Nick Martin Portland anarchist assault suit (PDF) in Multnomah County Circuit Court claims.
Nick Martin was working the door at Kelly's Olympian Monday when he says Erik D. Fletcher, James Brandon Poncin, Kelsey Schomberger and an unnamed attacked him, according to the complaint.
Fletcher allegedly attacked Martin just after 7 p.m. when the bouncer told the unnamed defendant he couldn't smoke near the building.
Martin claims he then backed up to the front door in an effort to grab his phone and call the police.
