1. GET REGISTERED
Get registered to vote with your current name, at your current address, by 21 days before Election Day.
To be registered to for the November 6, 2012 General Election, you must register no later than October 16, 2012.

2. WHAT TO BRING
All voting in Oregon is done by mail and there is no ID requirement on Election Day.
Ballots for long-term absent electors are mailed 45 days before the election.
Ballots for other electors with an out-of-state mailing address are mailed 30 days before the election. All other ballots are mailed between the 18th and 14th day before the election.
Your voted ballot must be received by any County Elections office or any designated drop site by 8:00 pm on election night. Don’t forget -- postmarks don’t count! You can find drop site locations here:
