PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – With just days to go before Pennsylvania’s 18th Congressional special election, a new poll shows Democrat Conor Lamb leading Republican Rick Saccone.

The Emerson College poll shows Lamb leading Saccone 48% to 45%, but it’s worth noting that is within the margin of error.

The college says the data was collected between March 1-3 using an online and landline sample of nearly 500 likely voters.

The survey shows that this special election has garnered a lot of voting excitement, with 56% saying they are very excited to vote.

Thanks, spinbaby!

People now have realized that the tax scam amounts to next to nothing in the paycheck, they want to take away medical coverage and they fear Social Security will be next.

too many undecideds...but if he had 54% and less than 2-3% undecided, I'd say he may pull it out. But 48% and 7% undecided...well I wouldn;t take the odds.

the dynamics work for the off party candidate to score an upset. When Lamb can be 52-54%, he has a decent chance to win as the undecideds are diminished as an overall segment of the voters'

Neither is Conor Lamb. He has knocked on thousands of doors, talking to the voters of PA-18. His campaign has held numerous meet and greets and rallies. There's one today with VP Joe Biden, if you're interested. https://conorlamb.com/biden/?utm_campaign=em18_180305_biden_fld_gq_cust__CLC&utm_medium=email&utm_source=cl4c&ms=em18_180305_biden_fld_gq_cust__CLC&refcode=em18_180305_biden_fld_gq_cust__CLC-graphic

Conor has participated in debates with Rick Saccone. He's met with union workers and their families, veterans and their families, and people who've lost loved ones to the opioid epidemic. He's worked very hard to earn the votes of these residents of PA-18. Since you're interested in this race, maybe you'd like to donate your time or money: https://conorlamb.com/

..them with Trump.
Like that will motivate people other than the hard core repubs to vote for them.
It really is like wearing a scarlet letter. A ref made earlier today.

Those pics next to Trump is more telling, as to why Tx Dems are polling 102% over last time around.

Hope every Repub shows themselves shaking hands with Trump as they campaign this yr & in 2020.

He is an instant trigger for voters to run the other way.

Kudos to Connor Lamb for his success.

It's darn close to 50/50 in most elections. Given the Trussian, anti-Trump and anti-GOP stuff going on now, it's going straight to BLUE!

Conor Lamb will make a great addition to the new BLUE WAVE Congress of 2018.

Go Conor! Do us proud!
