Primary Day! Did you vote?

Turnout seems very low here (District 14) I voted around 11:30 a.m. and was number 62. It's a small rural precinct though. There were no signs, no one handing out reminders, nothing. At first I thought they must have moved the polling place!

Ho does it look in your neighborhoods?

I'm in the district that had the big special election (Conor Lamb) so I think people don't realize they have to vote again!

information on any of the candidates. No mailers or phone calls. I follow Susan Boser on Facebook, otherwise I wouldn't know anything.

battle in this CD. Even with the new map, the Republicans outnumber us 3:1 here . Another woman (Kerith Strano Taylor) fdropped out of the race a couple of months ago when the new map was released. She said there was no "path to victory" with the new map. She has run twice before this and won the Dem nomination but lost the general by 30% points. It's Pennsyltuckey up here.

I'm in the new CD-7 and when I was there to vote, I was the only one.

I saw literature posted on the wall reminding voters of election laws.

They were posted on the outside doors. I didn't know about all the committee people until I got to the machine. I didn't know any of them anyhow. LOL

We just had a severe thunderstorm roll through accompanied by a tornado warning, which probably won’t help.

There is some controversy because she was a registered Repug until fairly recently. I'm hoping she saw the light and is not a stealth candidate.

There are a lot of new people running for Congress this time. We didn't have any big names here on the democratic side.

I did see last night that she won her primary. Hope she beats Smucker! We had several women winners last night. Hope the "old boys' network" is on its way out at last.

of the districts she ran unopposed for the Dem nomination in the newly established PA-11.. but there is a lot of enthusiasm driving her campaign, Smucker best be ready for a fight - I hope you are correct about the " old boy network"..

Maybe it will pick up as people head home. This is trump country though, so maybe a smaller turnout is a good thing.

Looks like 7th will be Wild (D) vs Nothstein (R).

She will go against Marty Nothstein (former Olympic cyclist). The Allentown Morning Call and WFMZ TV are pro Republican. The NRA has tremendous sway in the Lehigh Valley. Northampton County voted for Trump. I think it will be close.
