Public Schools Forum Wed. April 25 in Lehigh Valley - on Funding, Mandates and Standardized Testing

A public forum is being held Wednesday April 25th in Emmaus, outside of Allentown.

The event will address the burden of unfunded mandates from the State, state funding cuts for public schools that are increasing class sizes and causing cutbacks in educational programs, and the overemphasis upon standardized testing.

The panelists will include the Director of Education VotersPA as well as four superintendents from Lehigh County school districts.

The meeting is at the East Penn School District Administration Building at 800 Pine St. in Emmaus. It is on the north side of the Emmaus High School. Pine St. connects to Cedar Crest Blvd. near the football stadium.
