Pa. election results
In western Pa, Critz beat Altmire for Congress. The two imcumbents were pitted against each other.
In central Pa, incumbent Holden was defeated for his US House seat by Cartwright. the district had been redrawn to be solidly Democratic, and Holden was rather conservative for a Democrat.
Kane beat Murphy for PA. attorney general.
Most incumbents in the legislature withstood primary challenges. Several mainstream Republicans had teabagger challenges - to the best of my knowledge, the incumbents won. For example Dave Argyll won against coal baron Brian Rich in eastern PA.
In Center city Phila., a long-time member of the legislature, Babette Joseph was defeated by Brian Sims, a gay rights activist.
There were a few special elections for Pa. house, most of which were not very competitive. For example, in Lehigh County, the Republican candidate McKenzie won in a republican district.
Unfortunately, windbag Bill Deweese did not have a Democratic opponent for his state house seat. Therefore, he received the Democratic nomination on the same day he received a several year prison sentence.

Corbett had pressured the PA. republican party to endorse Welch for US Senate. He came in 3rd place with only 20% of the vote. The winner against Casey is a coal company executive named Smith who funded his own campaign
