Repub Senator to be Sentenced - Corbett didn't bother to investigate her, Local DA did

http://www.pennlive.com/midstate/index.ssf/2012/05/sen_jane_ories_sentencing_dela.html

It is purely coincidental that almost all of the public officials that Corbett charged for corruption were Democrats. Some people say he gave the Republicans time to switch all of their computer hard drives before he started to investigate them. The Democrats were mainly nailed based upon their emails.

A couple years later, he charged a couple Republicans who were already past their prime in political power. One of the most obvious targets for investigation for the exact same type of offenses was Republican State Senator Orie. Corbett for some reason never investigated her. The local County DA had to do the investigation and prosecution.

Orie has now been convicted of corruption and awaits sentencing. The article says that she may be required to reimburse state taxpayers for $1.3 million, including the time her state-paid employees spent running her sister's successful campaign for State Supreme Court. You may also remember that a judge determined that evidence presented in court on Orie's behalf was falsified.

It will be interesting to see if the sister, Orie-Melvin, receives pressure to resign from the Supreme Court. She holds the controlling seat for Republicans.

You're right. Corbett just aped the federal repug attorney general's office m.o., on our state level. He also stole his first AG election from Eisenhower.

Those hair-dos alone are a reason for prosecution. They look like trained poodles walking on two legs, or monchichi dolls.

The twisted rictus facial expressions that they exhibit, constantly, display their thought processes, like a cockroach crawling across a kitchen floor. Real mutants.
