Article about Dem candidates getting ready for 2014 Governor race (Joe Sestak???)

http://www.pennlive.com/midstate/index.ssf/2012/08/pennsylvania_democrats_weigh_e.html

This article quotes Jack Wagner as saying he definitely will not run for Governor. Sestak says he wants to run for some office, but he hasn't decided upon which one. Bob Casey has expressed an interest in eventually running for Governor, but may wait.

First, Casey would win in a heartbeat no questions asked. Corbett is a douchebag and Casey's name is golden in the keystone state.

But the problem is this.

Casey would have to resign from the senate before taking office of Governor. Which means Tom Corbett could sneak in there and name the replacement for Casey, which would be a republican.

That is one good reason why Casey won't run in 2014. He's young enough, he can wait. Also, he should have an easy time running re-election to the Senate, and it is nice to go 6 years without another race.
