Activists Try to Convince Voters to Not Give Chief Supreme Court Justice Castille Another Term

http://articles.mcall.com/2013-05-20/news/mc-pa-anti-ron-castille-retention-campaign-20130520_1_ron-castille-binder-judges

Castille's response was that nowhere did the activists mention that he was wounded in Vietnam.

Castille will soon turn 70, which would make him ineligible to serve on the court for another full term, under the State Constitution. He came up with a simple solution - he got some buddies to file a legal challenge, and then had the State Supreme Court take very quick and direct jurisdiction of the case. Castille is claiming that the Pennsylvania Constitution violates the Pennsylvania Constitution.
