Well at least the Republican National Committee Loves Corbett - repeated applause for his speech

One report was that it is expected that Corbett will raise $40 million for his re-election.

Excerpt:

"...at the national party gathering, Gleason said Corbett's Thursday evening address was “well-received” by the audience of Republican luminaries despite three major legislative failures this year.

The governor generated repeated applause lines for touting his reduced government and lowered tax efforts, Gleason said. Corbett's business-focused oversight of Marcellus Shale development in the commonwealth also drew praise, he added.

“My [GOP] counterpart in New York, asked me to have Gov. Corbett come to New York to make a speech at their state committee dinner to show them how to do this,” Gleason said. “They feel their governor has been sitting on his hands, and they feel the train is leaving the station. We are clearly the leader in this.”
