depending on who you read. A case of "watch what you believe just because you read it".....the DEP spin is significantly more positive, starting with the headline of the press release:
Auditor General Performance Report Validates DEPs Work Regarding Unconventional Gas Drilling Activities
HARRISBURG -- The Auditor Generals Office today released the Special Audit of DEPs Performance in Monitoring Potential Impact to Water Quality from Shale Gas Development for the period 2009 through 2012, finding no instances where DEP failed to protect public health, safety or the environment with respect to unconventional gas drilling activities.

Of course, I suppose that if I were writing an article about myself, I would tell everyone how wonderful I as too, and I would ignore the comments from people who think otherwise.

(6,819 posts)4. The DEP Press Release actually includes a coded message
If you take a close look at the DEP press release, you will see that it includes a coded hidden message. You have to take the first letter of each sentence. That hidden message reads:
"We are run by ignorant frackheads. We need more staff. Send help soon."

(18,219 posts)5. LOL. Do you really want to give them that much credit?
That would take some thought to do.
But I will agree that they need more staff....and the right kind of staff.
