"Welcome to Myrtle Manor"

Get a slice of Southern beach life in Welcome to Myrtle Manor, a new series that revolves around the quirky mobile home residents of a trailer park in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Becky, the trailer park landlord, dreams of turning Myrtle Manor into the five-star trailer park she has always dreamed of, with amenities like an on-site hair salon and a new above ground swimming pool. Will she be able to make her father Cecil, the owner of the trailer park, proud and keep the residents happy?

Welcome to Myrtle Manor premiered on Sunday, March 3 10|9; tune in to meet Becky and the rest of the one-of-a-kind residents of this very special trailer park.

OK admit it, have you watched this comedy? I haven't watched yet but I'm gonna give it a try. Myrtle Beach, SC is one of my most favorite places for vacation. As a tourist I never even saw a trailer park there but they have them everywhere else so why not Myrtle Beach. My sister and one of my daughters each own a trailer in a trailer park in FL so I got nothing against trailer parks but they can be a bit quirky sometimes.

but as a "local" (okay, really I live like an hour away but come to MB a lot) I would know where to look. I should watch the show to figure out the location of the trailer park.

My first thoughts when I watched it was really? My SIL, lived in a MHP in Myrtle Beach for years and if any of her neighbors acted like that, they would have been run out.

This weeks ep had the "new girl" from Georgia. Falling down drunk, puking, passed out in a lawn chair. But she knows how to boil hotdogs.....So they will give her a chance.
