For Obama's birthday, Tea Partiers are protesting near my home

On an overpass. There are at least 2 cop cars keeping watch. My husband convinced me not to talk shit as we drove by, but we were only one of MANY cars who slowed down to show our brown faces. Mind you, there were all of 20 people. Not much of a protest.

Just thought I'd share what's happening in my little corner of Texas.

Any other protests happening today?

I spend most of my time tormenting the crazies in front of the abortion clinic. Logic kicks their ass & the more I can keep them focused on me the less time the spend screaming at pplthat have bigger shit to deal with.

In my county recently and was surprised that there were no protests going on. I don't know where any abortion clinics are, but if I suspect protesting near one, I may too engage in a little banter.

Where I live. They carry their disgusting signs and harass people by yelling baby killer. I have let them know on many occasions how I feel about their sickening behavior. A girl was coming out and was crying from the things the protesters were saying to her! She was so upset she could barely make it to her car. That is an image I will never forget. Yet, they are all such good Christians!

Deeds in the bible. Kill the babies, keep the virgins bullshit. And I bet they are all pro-death penalty. Pro-life my ass. I don't care what side of either debate people are on, as long as they are consistent.

with the baby-killer crap. What was remarkable about all of it though is that I'm a male and I was going to my ophthalmologist. While I view abortion as a medical procedure that should happen as a last resort, they certainly didn't win me over to their cause with their rude treatment. Their actions towards the women and towards me actually backfired and it persuaded me to side with the pro-choice position.

When I report on a local story, I try to take photos with my cell phone like when I reported on the LaRouchies in Brenham.

I'm not trying to be critical, but a picture is worth a thousand words after all.

I could not get my phone out of my purse fast enough. My husband calls it a duffel bag that could hold a bowling ball. Next time I head out, I'll try to keep my phone handy.
