Atheist billboards posted around Bryan-College Station area

"Don't believe in God? You are not alone."

That's the message a newly formed non-religious coalition wants to get across, which is why its members have paid $6,000 for four billboards in the area going up this week.

Shamar Hawkins, who is in the process of finishing his degree at Texas A&M, is part of the coalition and the creator of the Bryan-College Station Atheist and Freethinkers meet-up group.

Hawkins said he won't be shocked if the signs are vandalized and, as of Tuesday, Fayad said he was already receiving "hate mail."
