Texas Football Stadium Vote A Reason to Celebrate, Sort Of

This week fifty four percent of Voters in Katy, Texas said no to building a $69 million dollar high school football stadium and a new STEM science and agriculture center, which was included in the construction package. While it's good news that voters saw through the need to build such a monument to football, the priority of building a giant football stadium has sacked a worthy project.

but putting them together is business as usual, hoping that people will vote for the whole thing because they want a part of it.

$25 million for an ag center is a bit over the top, and the paltry amount for the STEM center isn't nearly enough. Good for the citizens of Katy ISD for voting this one down.
