Arrived in Houston around September, '77. Stayed there for the next 20 years.

This is the only decent time in Houston. And the Chinese Tallow trees (not native, by the way) give a beautiful Fall color to the place. Enjoy it, and remember it.

Also take some time to visit the Kemah waterfront and enjoy some of the best seafood there is.

I admire how people can deal with it year in and out their entire life. I wish I could go to Kemah and try the seafood sadly I have a bad seafood allergy.

There can be some very nice days in Houston during October and November and again in March and April. However, Houston summers can be brutal and the winters can be chill and rainy.
