Judge blocks right wing jerk who pretended to be African American from taking office

Dave Wilson is a right wing nut case who won a seat on the Harris County Community College board by pretending to be an African American. The Harris County Attorney sued Wilson on the grounds that he did not live in the district. Wilson used a commercial warehouse as his home address for this race. Wilson's wife is registered to vote at their home which is outside the district. A judge blocked Wilson from being sworn in today. http://www.houstonchronicle.com/news/houston-texas/houston/article/Judge-stops-college-trustee-from-taking-office-in-5105569.php?t=2fb9672f7d. The fact that Wilson is a true jerk may play a role in this litigation.

'A judge blocked Wilson from being scorned (sic) in today.'

On edit: the Houston Chronicle expects people to pay for such poorly-edited content?

If he didn't live in the district, it doesn't matter if he's a martian, he's not eligible, and he earned the votes by deceit.

But that's especially low, what he did.

The county attorney did the right thing in bringing the suit.

I'm inclined to believe it's a Freudian slip, considering that this phoney-baloney is truly worthy of scorn. Can't wait to hear the inevitable burst of RWNJ outrage.

Today is the day that city and county officials were to take their oath of office or be sworn in. Here is some more on this story. http://blog.chron.com/kuffsworld/?cmpid=houtalkshcat

A state district judge has ordered David Wilson to refrain from taking an oath of office to serve as trustee of Houston Community College System District II until a court can determine the issue of his residency.

Judge Elaine Palmer granted the application filed by Harris County Attorney Vince Ryan asking that David Buren Wilson be prohibited from being sworn in until a court can hear evidence about where Wilson actually resides.
