Anyone know anything about Farmers Insurance Group?

I know someone who is considering getting a job with them. He is wondering if people have had good relationships with them, etc.

1. My next door neighbor's huge tree fell in a windstorm and clipped my garage.

They had Farmers Insurance, and I was impressed with how quickly they were in sending someone out to evaluate the damage, and how fair and prompt they were with the compensation.

2. I know quite a bit about Farmers. They are part of the Zurich Insurance Group.

Do you know which office they are going to be based in? What type of job is he considering?

Please send me a DU Mail with some details since I've been involved with them in a regulatory capacity, as a claimant and I also have had a couple of friends that have worked there (one is still employed). I don't want to get into too many details in public, but I would be happy to trade some DU Mails or call you if you wish.

3. I have been insured with Farmers for over 20 years.........

House and cars. Never a problem.
I'll admit I've never had a major clame outside of of glass coverage and towing, still, I have known people who were hassled even over those minor things.

My local agent is somewhat of a home business with maybe 2 employees. They have been there as long as I can remember.
I don't know if that says something good about Farmers or about the local agent.
