No Ebola - Lubbock hospital official says state won't test; will be released, monitored

A Lubbock man exhibiting Ebola-like symptoms does not have Ebola and the state will not test him, University Medical Center spokesman Eric Finley confirmed Thursday afternoon.

“The patient will be released and monitored by the Lubbock Health Department,” Finley said in a text message.

"A Lubbock man exhibiting Ebola-like symptoms does not have Ebola ... police confirmed the man had recently traveled to the Ivory Coast in Africa... and the state will not test him..."

This is Texas again, the state that brags about having few regulations to get in the way of business profits, and refused to participate in the ACA, where even a large, prestigious hospital utterly failed in their attempt to handle the first Ebola patient. Now here's another Texas hospital in the news, and they aren't even going to bother to test? And they know this how... do they have a magical crystal ball, a soothsayer perhaps, a Ouija board or a box of fortune cookies that says 'No Ebola Here'???
