And our Gregg Abbott fell right in line with these idiots in the picture.
During the training operation, it is important that Texans know their safety, constitutional rights, private property right and civil liberties will not be infringed, Abbott wrote in a letter to Maj. Gen. Gerald Betty of the Texas State Guard Tuesday.

(6,409 posts)There are people who believe FEMA goes around the country putting color coded stickers on your mailbox or driveway marker. Red means you get executed on sight. Yellow means you get thrown in jail. Blue means your a loyal sheep and present no danger to the gummit. Of course, it has been explained to them many times that the stickers are placed by newspaper delivery drivers. Red means you get the daily paper. Yellow means you get the Sunday paper. Blue means you get both the daily and Sunday papers. "Real patriots" know this is just FEMA propaganda, and some of them have gone around rural areas changing the colored stickers so FEMA will not be able to round them up when Obama declares martial law, as he's going to do any minute know. As you might expect, the newspaper delivery drivers do not find this very amusing.

It is important that Texans know their safety, constitutional rights, private property rights and civil liberties will not be infringed, Abbott wrote. By monitoring the Operation on a continual basis, the State Guard will facilitate communications between my office and the commanders of the Operation to ensure that adequate measures are in place to protect Texans.
Do you know what the Texas Guard is? Its not the Texas National Guard. Its just the Texas Guard. Its like the Boy Scouts except with no adult supervision.
Remember the old sheriff we had here who often tied his shoelaces together? He was the head of the Texas Guard here and his mistress was the Lt. Col. I am not making that up. Just ask anybody.
The Texas Guard is for people too old or too chicken to join the real military. They are for civil help only, like cleaning up after a hurricane. Heres what they get paid. They do not get to carry guns, even if they have one.
