Bill to Legalize Recreational Marijuana Use in Texas Clears House Committee

http://abc13.com/news/bill-to-legalize-marijuana-in-texas-clears-committee/701479/

While the story says that it probably won't pass this session, HB 507 which makes less than an ounce a civil penalty, passed out of committee a few days ago. Simpson's bill makes HB 507 seem really reasonable by comparison and several Republics have already sponsored it. The bill has 41 total sponsors now. Please call the members of the call the members of the calendars committee to get them to put it on the calendar.

I have a screen shot of the calendars committee members but I don't know how to post it.

This is a lame attempt for the GOP to attract anyone who is under the age of 70. They are great at talking a good game but are all about nanny government.
