200 bills headed to oblivion in Democratic slowdown

Rarely is so much effort spent to achieve so little.

Texas House Democrats, hoping to sink legislation banning gay marriage and other bills they opposed, missed few opportunities Thursday to unleash delaying tactics designed to minimize progress during a 15-hour floor session.
