George W. Bush will be disappointed.

Refugio 23 - Crawford 20
Class 2A - Division I State final at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

Refugio kicked a 19 yard field goal with 11 seconds left on the clock to win the game. Congratulations to the Refugio Bobcats.

FWIW, he lives in Highland Park now and the Highland Park Scots will be playing in the Class 5A - Division I game against Temple at noon on Saturday. It will be a game of the rich kids (Highland Park) vs. the other 99%.

Maybe there is such a thing as the Bush curse.
