Dallas firm that told drivers 'Your wife is hot' goes into deep freeze after 65 years in HVAC biz



Dallas-based Frymire Services said on its recorded message Thursday that it's closed and not just for the holidays.

The Dallas company has been in bankruptcy since July and has long serviced local homeowners with heating and air conditioning and plumber services.

"Frymire is closed. We thank you for over 65 years of business," the recorded message said.

The company raised its profile a couple years ago with clever billboards in the summer that read: "Your wife is hot. Better get the A/C fixed."

A company who's purpose is to prolong the useful life of a device, and who's primary expense is labor, is a good company to have around.

Air Around the Clock, here in Broward County has used that ad for over a decade. Same color and everything. Friend of mine works for them.
