East Texas fugitive known as "Stinky Butt" captured in Jacksonville
A man who escaped the custody of the Van Police Department in late November after he received medical treatment at a Tyler hospital is in custody.
A news release from the Jacksonville Police Department said police received word that Drashaydrian "Stinky Butt" Hunter, 26, was at an apartment in the Jacksonville Pines apartment complex in the 400 block of Talley Nichols Drive.
Officers were let in the apartment shortly before 7:30 a.m Friday and found Hunter hiding in a bedroom closet.
Police said when officers asked if Hunter was in the residence, the person asked officers if they were referring to "Stinky Butt."

The police department said Hunter is known throughout the community as "Stinky Butt," but it is not sure how or why Hunter was given the nickname.
