Four teens in custody after Snapchat photo shows Grapevine High student with gun on campus
Four Grapevine High teens were taken into custody Friday after a social media post showed a student with a gun on campus.
A student alerted officials about 1:30 p.m. about the photo, posted on Snapchat, of another student posing with the weapon in his waistband on school property.
The campus was immediately placed on lockdown while police were alerted.
Officers searched the campus ,and within a half hour had located the gun and identified the students involved.
Two 17-year-old males were taken into custody in addition to a juvenile boy and girl. They were not identified, but police said they’ll face charges that include making a terroristic threat, criminal trespass, possession of a firearm in a school zone and possession of marijuana.
