Hopeful sign for D turnout in Texas

For the first time since 2014, more Democrats than Republicans voted in the primary.

Even so, turnout is still very low overall.

As the results were being updated on Tuesday night, I was shocked to see how many more R votes there were than D votes--in an election where they really didn't need to vote. It is a relief to see that it worked out differently in the end. Still, no time for complacency. GOTV is critical.
