edit to say they are still making noise about how they can mess with the Texas election cycle and how late it can be pushed. Sounds like the scoop is from an on site reporter.

I just updated the older thread with Lyle Denniston's post about the hearing this afternoon. While not addressing the constitutionality of Section 5 is a good thing, the consideration of the Texas map with only the Section 2 application will not give us what we want either.

Sill waiting for a more analysis from the experts.
