Beto may run for Governor

I and others tried our best to get one of the Castro brothers to run for governor in 2018. I attended a local town hall with over 150 other democrats to try to get Joaquin to run. He and I talked afterwards (we were both delegates to the Philadelphia convention). There are many in the Texas party who are still pissed at the Castro brothers for not stepping up during a blue wave year to run and while I like Lupe, she was a weak candidate.

I applied to work on his campaign team about a year ago, but I never heard back from him. If he cranks up his machine again, I will gladly offer my services.

Beto is a natural politician with unquestionable, and unshakable, people-first, Democratic principles. If he doesn’t run for Governor, I am sure he will run for something.
