Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth will become a mass vaccination center, according to a plan announced by Denton County Judge Andy Eads late Friday.
The county plans to vaccinate 10,000 people a day at a drive-through vaccination site at the racetrack starting on Tuesday, Eads said.

(512 posts)4. The Texas track is owned by SMI.
SMI also owns several tracks including Bristol Motor Speedway. I have been employed at BMS for over 30 years as a Manager during race events and we have been vaccinating for several weeks. NASCAR has been making changes that I can finally agree with.

Just curious.
As for accomodating slow moving & masive traffic, this is far better than those cars winding their way within the city streets.
