They opened it to 50+ last week and it's been a challenge for the newly-eligible to get appointments. There's supposed to be more supply arriving this week, but it seems odd to open it further when the 50+ group has barely started.

I saw an email from my physicians office on Monday, called Tuesday morning and they had two open slots available but I couldn't get there in time because of transportation issues. I made an appointment on Wednesday morning and was in and out of the office before my appointment was scheduled at 9 a.m.

It was the J&J vaccine so I'm finished. My closest friend and his wife in Grapevine both had the first dose of the Moderna vaccine last week and they didn't indicate they had any problems getting the vaccine.

Haven't had any luck at the usual options or through my provider, though more supply is apparently arriving this week. They've all been out since sometime last week (basically, since right after 1C opened). I've heard/read of similar problems in other parts of the state, though some areas have had few issues.

Sounds like Williamson County (next one over) got a bunch and has cut their waitlist from 300,000 to 4,000 in the past few days, so trying there next. As they've caught up, they've been asking people in neighborhood counties to get on the list.
