Don't understand all of this.
A few months ago, one of the Justices for the 4th Court of Appeals said they wanted to redistrict 4th Court of Appeals.
She gave us a bill number, but it was SB 11 and when I looked at SB 11, it looked they were going to shift two counties in east Texas that were being served by two courts. It looked like the Court of Appeals up in Dallas was gonna lose a red county to a more rural district. (District 5, 6 and 12 which are currently sharing courts)

So, I didn't think nothing of it.

At face value, SB 11 looked like a routine maintenance bill to settle some old redistricting issues.

But these companion bills are bad.

Are they going to eliminate 1/2 of the Court of Appeals Districts????

I will contact Sen Menendez about SB 1529
