Medical freedom to be focus of protest near Midland hospital
MIDLAND -- A protest against “medical tyranny” will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at 215 Andrews Highway.
Leiken Finch, an event promoter, said the protest is taking place for people to express viewpoints on medical freedoms.
While they are holding the rally on the sidewalk in front of the Walgreens and near Midland Memorial Hospital, Finch stated in an opinion article to the Reporter-Telegram that the location was picked because it is a “high traffic area” and that the rally “is not to protest the hospital or its employees, but to raise awareness about freedom of choice and the tyranny happening globally.”
“We are advocating for the right to have a freedom of choice when it comes to our medical protocols, choosing our providers and what is best for our family,” Finch wrote.
