Possible meth lab found on Texas Tech campus
Texas Tech hasn’t officially confirmed that there was an investigation of a meth lab on campus.
An official did confirm there was an investigation on campus involving Texas Tech police and the Lubbock Police Department. Chris Cook, managing director of media for Tech, said he was made aware of the investigation late Friday morning but he wasn't sure how officials were alerted to the dorm room.
Cook was not sure what building the investigation took place in. He said there were items recovered from the room but he stopped short of saying they were meth-related items.
"The area was not an operational site," Cook said.
