West, TX Paramedic Arresting For Possessing Bomb-Making Materials

http://www.dallasnews.com/news/west-explosion/headlines/20130510-west-paramedics-arrest-shocks-those-who-knew-him.ece

WHOA.

By all appearances, Bryce Reed was a grieving man who loved to serve his small community of West. He was a volunteer paramedic dealing with the death of his friend and destruction of much of his town.

But he may not been what he appeared to be.

He was arrested by federal authorities Friday, accused of giving an “assortment of bomb-making components” to an unnamed person in the Central Texas town of Abbott.

He has also made unverifiable claims about his education and career on his online resúmé on LinkedIn. It is unknown when it was last updated, but the bachelor’s and master’s degrees he claims he earned have been disputed by records and authoritative sources. He also claims to have held management positions with three entities that are now defunct.

No indication yet that this has anything to do with the fertilizer plant explosion or not. But, wow, what a coincidence if it doesn't!

If they can blame this guy, charge him, maybe even convict him, then civil suits against the owner of the plant, their insurance company, etc, probably won't generate compensation for the victims. Isn't it possible that even without a conviction, the suggestion that intentional foul play was involved will kill civil suits?

Color me very suspicious of this focus of the investigation.

because it appears they are already dragging their feet and not disclosing much information.

The republicansw have gone shut mouth on the story and hate the joke about deregulation. Dick Perrys and his Texas City Boom.

He sounds like he's trouble.
He's got a history of lying.
On his Linked In profile he states he worked for one of the ammunition companies. However, he claims to be a lot of things.

It's entirely possible, he's not connected to the fertilizer explosion.

It's kind of scary to think about how many of your neighbors are making pipe bombs.

Did you read the affidavit?

Did you know this guy gave the bomb to someone for safe keeping on the day after Obama visited West, Texas?
