JUST PLAINLY STUPID: Utah drops restrictions on gatherings ahead of Thanksgiving

Utah dropped its coronavirus restrictions on resident gatherings ahead of Thanksgiving this week, though officials still recommend against them.

Utah Gov. Gary Herbert (R) announced Monday that the state was removing the two-week-old mandate against casual social gatherings of those from different households, instead making it a recommendation. The restrictions on gatherings were set to expire Monday.

and the hospitals are nearly full. The governor has mush for brains, to phrase it politely.

I don't know how the nurses refrain from walking off the job.

2000 more cases and four deaths were reported on the same day he made his "recommendation".

Waiting to pass security at the Louvre. Guards were allowing a handful of people to enter at a time to prevent crowding. All of a sudden from the front of the line, I hear shouting, in English. A corpulent pasty fucker was screaming at the guard because...get this... they let his wife go in and then cut off at him. The guard kept saying, 'It will only be a moment.' But noooooooo.... Asshole was having none of that. He was furious and while I don't recall what he was saying, it was insulting to the guard. Finally he went in. I turned to the watching crowd and announced loudly, in French, 'I am American and I am sorry. We are not all like that.' When I got inside I saw Mr. Amurka and he had on a white golf shirt with "Herbert for Governor" logo on it.
