Today and tomorrow -- the last few hours to GOTV!

Voter turnout is critical for us here! We can do this!

It ain't over till it's over. I REALLY REALLY want Mark Herring to be the next Attorney General.

This is the alternative:

Really, here is Obenshain's bill:

http://leg1.state.va.us/cgi-bin/legp504.exe?091+ful+SB962+pdf <--- read it and vote.

When a fetal death occurs without medical attendance upon the mother at or after the delivery or abortion, the mother or someone acting on her behalf shall, within 24 hours, report the fetal death, location of the remains, and identity of the mother to the local or state police or sheriff's department of the city or county where the fetal death occurred. No one shall remove, destroy, or otherwise dispose of any remains without the express authorization of law-enforcement officials or the medical examiner. Any person violating the provisions of this subsection shall be guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor.

Pass this on far and wide!

We're down to the final stretch, I want to see a top three sweep. I want to see a few more delegates with a (D) after here name elected as well. Voter turnout is so very critical.

Unless, of course, my ID is rejected.

I saw on TV the other night that a turnout of maybe 30% of eligible voters is expected. People certainly take that right for granted.

This is a big one. The outcome will affect me personally. I am voting as if my future depends on it, because it does.

Best wishes to all. Do your duty.

here is what you need: (ONE of these) http://www.sbe.virginia.gov/votinginperson.html

Virginia voter registration card

Valid Virginia driver's license

Military ID

Any Federal, Virginia state or local government-issued ID

Employer issued photo ID card

Concealed handgun permit

Valid student ID issued by any institution of higher education located in the Commonwealth of Virginia

Current utility bill, bank statement, government check or paycheck indicating the name and address of the voter

Social Security card (*please note the social security card does not satisfy special federal ID requirements)

Stop trying to suppress your vote, mahatmakanejeeves.

That 30% number you saw came from the Cucinelli campaign BTW. No really, it did. http://www.politico.com/story/2013/11/ken-cuccinelli-virginia-election-2013-99287.html

But this was Virginia Republican Party Chairman Pat Mullins’s version of the power of positive thinking in an interview this weekend. The path for star-crossed GOP gubernatorial candidate Ken Cuccinelli, Mullins said, looks like this: “If turnout is in the 30s, the low 30s, we’re gonna win. If it gets higher up in Fairfax [in Democratic-leaning Northern Virginia], say like 40, it’s likely we won’t. I don’t think it’s going to hit 40 anywhere. I’m looking at 32.”
They are trying to suppress the vote. Anyone who watches politics knows this. You HAVE to know this as well. Don;t fall for that game play.

We can do this.

Don't believe the GOP talking points. I know you are going to vote, but buck up!
