WTVR CBS 6:

So far, this system has played out as expected, with no surprises. Here's what I'm expecting for the rest of the event, using Richmond as a center point (colder northwest and warmer southeast): Snow will mix with and then change to sleet and freezing rain from now through 3 AM, with primarily freezing rain by 3 AM (rain with surface temps at or below freezing). Surface temps should warm above freezing by 10 AM, with just a plain cold rain as the primary precip type. There could be a several hour lull in the precip from mid-morning to early afternoon. Wrap around snow will develop by 3 PM, and will continue (with surface temps a little above freezing) through mid-evening. All precip will end by around 11 PM Thursday night.
