A two minute wait. My 2:30 pm vote number shows that there was a 43% turnout at my purple precinct at that time.

In 2013 the turnout was 57% (with McAuliffe beating the Cooch by 2.1% of the vote) and in 2016 turnout was 77%.

Edit to add: Hillary won by 0.7% in 2016

Pins and needles!

In my purple precinct, who turns out is the deciding factor. Yonnie3 Nov 2017 #3

Saw a guy who's been tweeting updates all day about turnout say that heavy rain in NOVA was hurting turnout up there. Hopefully they come back now that it's rolled out.

2013 is the number to beat, realistically. So 4 1/2 hours to beat 2013 % turnout. Need another 15%.

Edit to add:

Reps seem to do better with high turnouts.
