My wife commented last night: For those of us who've really stayed in
we are going to be shocked at how much is closed once we go back out.

at the Wegman's. I went on by, found a hidden Food Lion, and got my item there, but the Wegman's parking lot was like a regular day. Also, the traffic was much heavier than I expected.

Generally, I shop at 10 PM, when groceries are empty.

I was a bit irritated last night, though -- they had two registers open, had two lines of customers waiting, and the open registers were right next to each other -- you know the two lanes, one is the 15 items or less, the other is regular, and if you stand in either lane, you are 2 feet from the customers in the other lane????

We had to stand 6 feet behind the person in front of us, but we were right next to the people in the other lane! Madness! They should have opened a lane that was farther down.
