Meal plans organized for Washington students amid coronavirus school closures

The six-week closure involves 43 districts – roughly 600,000 students, which is more than half the student population in the state.

Seattle Public Schools (SPS) says 28.5% of students qualify for free or reduced lunch. The district feeds about 15,000 students daily.
